Blue Cross NC's updated member portal (Dec 2025) features a refreshed homepage, SilverSneakers fitness benefit for Medicare members (replacing FitOn in 2026), enhanced nurse support for chronic conditions, improved Teladoc telehealth info, and clearer supplemental benefits.
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (Blue Cross NC) recently launched significant updates to its member portal, aimed at delivering a more intuitive, personalized, and user-friendly experience. Rolled out last week (as of December 17, 2025), these improvements help members easily access benefits, manage health needs, and stay informed.
Key enhancements include:
SilverSneakers® Replaces FitOn
Starting January 1, 2026, Medicare members will access
SilverSneakers
as their no-cost fitness benefit. This popular program replaces FitOn, which is no longer serving the senior market, and offers gym access, online workouts, and wellness resources to support active, healthier lifestyles for seniors.
Modernized Homepage
The portal homepage now features a refreshed, dynamic design with personalized content based on your specific plan. Members can quickly view coverage details, track claims, explore wellness programs, and check rewards—all in one convenient location.
Seamless Rally Integration
New single sign-on (SSO) links allow members to log in directly to the Rally Engage wellness portal without separate credentials, making it easier to engage with wellness tools and incentives.
Expanded Nurse Support Program
A new common form under the Wellness menu lets members request personalized support for chronic conditions such as asthma, COPD, diabetes, heart disease, and hypertension. Connect with registered nurses, dietitians, and health coaches for tailored guidance.
Updated Teladoc Telehealth Page
The Teladoc section has been redesigned with fresh content, highlighting virtual care options for common illnesses, dermatology visits, mental health support, and nutrition counseling—making it simpler to access convenient care from home.
Improved Experience for Dual Special Needs Plan (DSNP) Members
For DSNP members, Explanations of Benefits (EOBs) and billing details are now hidden in the portal to prevent confusion. As cost-share protected members, they won’t receive bills from Blue Cross NC, resulting in a clearer and more straightforward claims and billing experience.
Refreshed Supplemental Benefits Information
Medicare supplemental benefits and vendor details have been updated for clarity, including allowances, vision and dental benefits, and rewards accessible through the Blue FlexCard.
These updates reflect Blue Cross NC’s ongoing commitment to improving digital tools, empowering members to better manage their health, and supporting employers in promoting workforce wellness while controlling costs.
Members are encouraged to log in to the Blue Cross NC portal to explore the new features. For questions or assistance, contact Blue Cross NC customer service or your plan administrator.
